I can't really say what this is. I can think of a few things, like, a cup to hold salt in the kitchen for when you need to grab just a pinch or a cup to pour some liquid into the pan. I just don't know. It is very old. Made of pewter and marked "International Silver Co." and "Hilton". It is 7 3/4" long including the handle and 4" diameter at the rim. Two pouring spouts, each opposite the other. Weighs 1/2 lb. Very nice patina. The end of the handle has some kind of "crest" engraved. It looks like a colonial piece.
