These are old lamps with a new power cord. The finial is an old marble that matches the color of the bakelite which is reddish brown. The lamp is made of glass and the base is a brass colored metal. We have no shades with this lamp so you are free to choose your own matching your home decor. Both lamps work fine. The stand 16 1/2" to the marble. A great example of turn of the century deco.
