1st edition, 1885 NAVILLE, Edouard. THE STORE-CITY OF PITHOM AND THE ROUTE OF EXODUS. London: Egypt Exploration Fund; Trubner & Co., 1885. 13 plates, of which three are folding, & 2 maps. Quarto. viii,31 pp. Publisher's binding of black cloth-backed printed paper boards. If you are familiar with these books from the Egypt Exploration Fund, you know that the binding is a cloth/tape like material which does not hold well over time with use. This book is ex-lib withdrawn from the Bryson Library Teachers College. The pages are blind stamped/embossed at top right corner of pages so the stamps do not intrude on the contents or plates. The covers are detached and the pages are coming away from the binding, page ends a bit brittle. So although the condition doesn't sound good, it is common for these publications. The contents are good incl. The contents are good and colete as called for. A rare book to come by for sure.
