His older brother by only three years, was the junior Charles Francis Henry, who became a famous economist and a famous historian and a Brigadier-General in the Union Army during the Civil War. His younger brother of 10 years became a famous historian as well. There is no greater book to help us evaluate our American heritage than this one.
