Complete and tight. Published in 1818 by S.G. Goodrich(Samuel Griswold) pseudonym Peter Parley (1793-1860). Publisher, born in Ridgefield, CT. He edited in Boston "The Token (1828-42), to which he contributed moralistic poems, tales, and essays for children. He published some zoo volumes, mostly for the young as "Peter Parley" books, starting with "The tales of Peter Parley about America" (1827). He was also consul in Paris (1851-3).
This bible is worn and faded but intact and precious.
